I changed my mind. This is no longer my slice of the American Dream pie. It is now just a place for me to bitch.

Look at me... I'm a Christian... I'm reading the Bible

The last post struck a nerve with me, since it isn't the first time I've heard this asinine argument (remember, I was raised by two very religious people). So I did about five minutes of research and found this article explaining why technology is going to facilitate Satan's takeover of Earth. It even has Bible verses if you're inclined to read what these wackos are basing all this on.

This is taken from the article: "The antichrist will know who are his as he sits in front of the most sophisticated computer surveillance system in the world. Of course, he will also know who are not his." This is assuming the anti-christ even knows how to work a computer. This sounds like a plot to a bad B-movie.

Is the Anti -Christ much worse than the Almighty? I mean he didn't send a bear to kill children. And Luke 19:27 is a cheery little verse about killing non-believers, spoken by the Prince of Peace himself. And people think the Muslims are the only scary religion.

What songs do you think Satan has on his Ipod? I'll bet he listens to a lot of Jethro Tull.

On a more serious note, isn't it fitting that government education specializes in turning out people incapable of critical thought, so as to make them more loyal to the state, but then the idiots are drawn to a completely different asenine ideology.
